An overview of daily events in the war between Russia and Ukraine. Once again a Russian headquarters was hit, the UN committee reported on Russian crimes in Ukraine and the front in Zaporizhzia seems to be flaring up.
Russian sources report about a heavy escalation in the Zaporizhzia region near Verbove and Novoprokopivka. Ukrainian forces advanced west of Verbove clearing another treeline and is advancing further southward.
The SBU released footage of a HIMARS strike on a headquarters in the occupied Kherson region which hosted officers of the 70th Guards Rifle Division.
General Updates:
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Danilov stated that agreements with the US have been made in terms of hitting Russia with the ATACMS that will be supplied.
Russia seeks to return to the UN Human Rights Council. Russian diplomats are seeking to get their country re elected to the council for a fresh three year term.
Norway is providing an additional NOK 1 billion ($92 million) to provide Ukrainians with access to the protection and life-saving assistance they need.
