Ukrainian Special Forces confirmed the death of Viktor Nikolayevich Sokolov, commander of the Black Sea Fleet. In total 34 officers were killed while another 105 Russians were injured in strike on the headquarters in Sevastopol.
Northeast of Verbove, the Ukrainian armed forces has started to push along the trenchline towards Novofedorivka and made significant progress. Russians are pushed back.
In Bakhmut after securing the area west of the railway tracks, the AFU shifted attention to Kurdyumivka.
General Updates:
Polish President Andrzej Duda supported the further transfer of arms to Ukraine. According to him, Poland is ready to supply Ukraine with old military equipment, after its replacement by purchasing new ones.
The USA introduced export restrictions against the world's largest Russian producer of titanium VSMPO-AVISMA. Another four sanctioned companies, according to the Ministry of Trade, supplied components for Russian drones.
Ukraine received $100 million from the World Bank under the guarantee of Great Britain. They are part of the fifth additional financing of the PEACE in Ukraine project.
